This (62’x42′) acrylic mural on concrete. In this mural pre-columbian artifacts are combined with text by poet Octavio Paz, painted in Spanish and English onto the Aztec calendar to explore concepts of time and place. Sponsored by the Social and Public Art Resources Center (SPARC) and the Cultural Affairs Department, City of Los Angeles, Neighborhood Pride: Great Walls Unlimited, 1992-1993.
