Designed to complement the architecture of the building entrance this work documents the community involved in the building of the shelter through sandblasted text and photographs fired onto the tiles. Ceramic, granite, slate with sandblasted text and photo transfers onto tile (13’x50′) Commissioned by the New Children’s Shelter Fund and the San Jose Art Commission.
