Commissioned by Sonoma State University for the new Library/Information Center. This a memorial to labor leader Cesar Chavez and the Farm Workers Movement. His words are layered across the image of him fasting. This 8′ x 24′ wood relief work is stained, painted, drawn on with a wood burning tool and carved.
